Web Development Procedure
Procedure Overview
The following phases outline the order in which the development of a website must be performed. To ensure the highest quality results, one phase cannot begin until the previous phase has been completed.
Planning Phase
Our developers are available for discussions over phone or email free of charge. In-person meetings will require a non-refundable down payment of $100 which can then be applied to the design or development fees. During the planning phase agreements will be made between WebSight Designs and the client regarding the specific tasks to be performed and when payments will be made.
Design Phase
The design phase is the phase during which WebSight Designs performs graphic design services or the client provides all of the required graphics to WebSight Designs so we may begin the development of the website. The design phase will also require the client to provide any other files WebSight Designs may need to begin the development phase.
Development Phase
Once all of the graphics and other files have been received, the development process will begin. WebSight Designs will keep in contact with the client throughout the development phase to update them as to the progress.
Review Phase
Once the development is completed the client will then review the development work and either notify WebSight Designs of any discrepancies, or remit payment if all is satisfactory.
Company Policies
Making Payments
All payments under $1,000 require a full down payment up front before work can begin. All payments of $1,000 or more require a down payment of half up front before work can begin. Payments may be made via check, money order or secure online credit card transaction via this website. Payments of $1,000 or more may not be paid via online credit card transaction.
Overdue Payments
Any client whose payments are behind by 30 days or more must remit payment before services may continue. This applies to both hosting fees as well as development fees.
Proposals
Proposals and estimates sent out by WebSight Designs are valid for a period of 30 days.
